The Round Tree Inn

The Round Tree Inn is marked on the 1876 OS map and also appears in a Brice's Weekly advertisement of 1727 and a "to let" notice in the Exeter Flying Post in 1769.

Pigot (1823) gives an address in Frog Lane with William Morton resident. A frog Street address is supplied by White (1850). Mary Morton was resident. J Gregory was resident in 1870 when checks were issued.

A large Inn, and named after the nearby Round Tree Mill.

The inn is believed to have closed in 1903. J F Berry was resident from 1889 until closure, it is listed by Kelly in 1897.
